How it works
The loop, explained.
Everything below happens on one shared iPhone, an iPad in the kitchen, or each kid's own device — your call. Setup takes about 90 seconds.
Set up in 90 seconds.
Add your kids.
A name and an animal avatar. No email, no birthday, no account.
Pick chores and prizes.
Start from our library — 12 chores, 8 prizes — or write your own.
Hand over the phone.
Or pair a kid's device with a six-character code. Done.
The daily loop.
Step 1
Spin for a chore.
One tap, one spin, one random chore from today's pool. The wheel picks — nobody else. There's a daily pool, and chores run out: when the pool's empty, the day is done. The wheel never demands a fifteenth chore.
Step 2
Do it, snap a photo.
Finished? One photo proves it. The photo goes to you, privately, and nowhere else.
Step 3
You approve.
A notification, a glance, one tap. About three seconds. Too busy? Turn on auto-approve per chore — trusted chores clear themselves after a photo, and you can review any of them afterward.
Step 4
Spin again — for a prize.
The prize wheel spins from your prize box — whatever you put in it: extra screen time, picking dinner, an ice cream trip. Prizes you hand over get marked as given, so nothing gets promised twice.
The obvious question
"What if my kid just refuses?"
Then the chore goes back. Every kid gets two re-rolls a week — spin past a chore they hate, and it returns to the pool. Fair warning: it can come right back, and the wheel has no memory of being argued with.
And you're never stuck: you can reassign any chore to a sibling, swap it for another, or void it entirely. The wheel picks, but you're still the parent.
Two re-rolls a week. The wheel counts. The wheel does not negotiate.
Streaks, with forgiveness built in.
Every approved chore day grows a streak. Miss a day because life happened — a late practice, a sick day, a weekend at grandma's — and a streak freeze holds the streak automatically. The game rewards showing up; it never punishes being a kid.
Freezes are free. Nothing about a streak costs money — streaks are never for sale.
The prize box is yours.
Prizes are whatever you decide — extra screen time, choosing the movie, staying up twenty minutes late, an ice cream run. You set them, the wheel hands them out at random, and you mark them as given when you've paid up.
Doozy never sells prizes, spins, or re-rolls, and your child will never see an ad or an offer inside the app. The only thing money buys in Doozy is the app itself.
That's the whole game.
Spin, do, approve, prize. Free to start, 90 seconds to set up.
